Re: Looking for a Synth..(Industrial/

You might want to take a look at the Mutable Instruments Shruthi. You can pick one of those up pretty dang cheap. I've seen then recently for $200. If you're looking for sampling and synthesis, you could check out the Alesis Fusion. Has sampling and 4 different synthesis engines. Lots to explore and...

Re: BOOMSTARS!

Pricey? You must be kidding. They're cheap for what you get. Seriously. I have the 4075 and SEM Booms and they're both great. Loads of character and probably the only vintage sounding synth sub $1000 (besides the TO SEM). These are pretty easy to understand. Read the manual once to verify you unders...

Re: Anyone here burned out on modern analog?

Not burned out when things like Boomstars and Dominion 1s are being released. Even the Hypersynth Xenophone was an unexpected surprise. I don't think it's possible for a synthesist to become burnt out on synths. I love them. Synth companies will know if they laid an egg so there's a level for accoun...

I've narrowed it down to two, but I will give it another day to listen again and make a decision.

Re: VSE Disco Competition - ends June 1st/14

I wanted to make something, but really had no time to do it. Looking forward to next time though.

But I'll still vote. When does the voting begin?

Is it one song per person? That makes the most sense to me, but just checking.

Re: DSI polyevolver keyboard discontinued

But it's amazing the desktop Evolver is still going strong. That was the first Evolver I owned and I had a blast with it, but then of course I eventually moved up to the PEK, which I have now.

Re: Roland should reissue the

no company should reissue anything. Look at the MS20 mini... :---) they should develope something fresh I haven't followed the MS-20 mini much, but I haven't heard much bad about it. I heard at one point that maybe there was noise coming through even with noise turned off. Other than that I've hear...

Re: Mfb Synths

The X SED sounds amazing imo. I haven't heard of many people that have them, which surprises me. From the demos I've heard, it seems like the X SED would be quite popular. I feel it's somewhat of a dark horse as it doesn't seem to get the praise it deserves.

Re: Megamicron iPad editor for Micron and Miniak on sale

Does it not control the Arp/Sequencer? Does it control the mod matrix? Is there any parameters that it doesn't control?

Re: Waldorf Pulse 2 - working unit at MusikMesse

Fwik, the Pulse 2 is cheaper in Europe being that it's made there.

The great thing about the Pulse 2, besides all it's great features, are it sounds more unique than many of the other modern analogs out there.
