Thanks a lot! That's excellent.
That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Now all I need is a K2000 to pop up in the local op-shop and I'll be set.

Cheers,

Excellent, cheers.
I've heard the Synthmania ones allready but I haven't heard those K2600 ones yet.
Moral to the story I suppose is that it's a good series of synths. Just the "On The Run" cover in the other demo section irked me a bit.

VAST examples anyone?

Just wondering as I think it's been mentioned before, that there seem very few good examples around cyberspace of someone going fruity with Kurzweils' VAST. I know that they're incredibly deep and whatnot but I'd just love to hear examples of some Deep Synthesis. :D Crunchy digital mess or whatever ...

Can't wait. I've left reminders up all over my house. Most exciting thing to come on tv for a looooong time.

I noticed in the TV Guide it mentioned how Tristram Cary wrote the Dr Who theme. They didn't forget old Delia did they?

Well I suppose my ETI/Maplin 4600 is pretty rare and you don't see many Zebranalogics floating around either for one reason or another. Maybe that's a good thing...

I wish my CS-15 was rare. :(

Ok thanks for the help. So does it matter if the joystick is usb or does it need to be plugged in via the gameport plug?

That sounds pretty much like it. Just need to figure out how to use Max now.

I was looking for something similar in Live so for my next doofus question; is Max/MSP only standalone or can you run it as a vst?

PC Joystick as midi controller?

Sorry I'm sure this has been dealt with somewhere before but I couldn't find anything. I just had the idea that many people would've had, that a pc joystick would make a great midi controller. So I've read a bit of info about people using analog joysticks as controllers with the right software and i...

Nice video.
Though I've been struggling to take big Moogs seriously after that Radiophonic Workshop doco made the comment of them "being theoretically able to create any sound imaginable, though they often sounded more like a cat chewing on bees"

I agree. Really seems to be a thoroughly innovative approach like most of his stuff.
I really like Buchla's idea that keyboardists shouldn't be the only ones able to play electronic music.

We need more 400's and/or 700's!

I'm in the slow process of uploading the mp3 to a new myspace page now.

It's aptly titled "Buchla 400".

It's currently 4:46 am here so I may need to sleep now but it should be uploaded by the morning. :P
