Ah that's excellent, cheers.
Yeah, I do appreciate that a simple "Synth Repair for Morons" may not be overly useful in the longterm.
Thanks

Maplin/ETI/International anyone??
Greetings!
I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions, information etc on these beasties?
Apart from that they have a matrix panel and go for silly amounts of money on ebay for broken ones.
Anyone have any sound demos or thoughts on their sound compared to other synths?
Cheers,

CS voltage normalizer??
Just to show my complete lack of control voltage knowledge, just wondering if anyone makes converters that change Yamaha's weird control voltage into normal v/oct? Is such a thing possible?

Yeah I've read about them. But I've read that a lot of people have problems with poor tracking and whatnot. Also the fact that it would cost me near $1000 just to midify my guitar. I was thinking more along the lines of pitch-to-voltage converters, which I'm sure wouldn't make tracking any easier bu...

Controlling synth via guitar??
Sorry, I tried searching for this in past posts but only got 4000 results with nothing to do with this. I was basically wanting to know what the best way to go about controlling synths with a guitar is. I've seen those Roland GR midi pickups but they only seem to be compatible with GR synths? Any ot...

Prophet 64 over Yamaha CX5?
Greetings all, just throwing a question to the vintage computer buffs. I was just wondering what people's opinions were on either getting a Yamaha CX5 music computer or just getting a C64 with the fabled SID with the Prophet 64 cartridge. Any clue as to which one would be easier to program. I'm gues...
