Re: Moog Taurus III picture
Really neat that Moog is actually going through with this but only one octave? really? I mean, you don't need 61 pedals, but even the original taurus was C - F. I feel so limited when I play an organ with this small of a pedalboard. If you're not in the key of C it's really a pain in the a*s. An oct...

Re: Christmas wish list 2009
I'd like to find an MC-202 for a decent price. I guess it's not really a present. I sold a several things to get money for it. But finally having it will feel like a present.

Re: PROMARS kicks a*s. This is why:
The envelope is "snappy" because when I set the attack to a high value, there is no key click or other initial sound before the envelope. Also, when I'm using the decay with the attack slider set to 0, there is no attack time - like it should be. When I release a key and the release slider is all th...

Re: If you had to
Ensoniq ESQ-M - It has so many possibilities and can be split into 8 synths. I can program almost anything on it.
Yamaha DX7 - As much as I love to hate it, I'd keep the DX for controlling the ESQ-1. Plus, I can do FM on it, which is one thing that the ESQ will not do.

It very well could have been a Minimoog, as Heart now uses a Voyager for the solo.

Re: Hammond 44
Funny to run into this post, as last night I saw Kira Kira live in Harrisburg and she used one of these. It definitely was not a hohner. It looked like this hammond 44. It did sound very cool. That said, the whole concert was fantastic!

Ensoniq ESQ-M is surprisingly dirty. Maybe it's the curtis filters.

Re: Arp Axxe early model
Having compared my mk1 axxe to my friend's prodigy, I am convinced that mine definitely has the 4 pole filter design. Mine is serial number 23130934.
