Well.. is it the lower knobs that send out the cv's then? all the knobs send out cvs, which can go to different destinations per row each column sends out a gate to which can be used for triggering, or whatever :) Ok. i watched Siliconsequences on youtube. But there he is only using one output :S a...

So now if i got everything right: The left outputs gate signals which goes into the oscillators input (where you can put in a keyboard) and the knobs to the left how many times that step is going to be repeated? I don't think so. The CV output that goes from the sequencer to the synths's oscillator...

Those outputs to the left on q960, are those the CV? If its so, then im not confused anymore :) The page you linked to explains things fairly clearly. It seems the "oscillator" onboard is the sequencer's own clock. It has a CV control input, and a 90% pulse wave output. Basically clock signals step...

Its all CV & Gate/Trigger as far as connecting them together goes. As for the internal workings.... well the DIY kits seem pretty complicated. I have a question myself on this subject. What analog sequencers are still available already built? Those outputs to the left on q960, are those the CV? If ...

Analog sequencers, how?

How do they work? I am totally confused.. Does it send out a CV or what?

Someone with knowledge explain to me :P (I know most parts about CV and such).
also nice if you take the synthesizer.com Q960 as an example.

Organ lessons and piano lessons will both have some bearing on synth playing - they have individual styles which are very similar, but definitely different. I'd say go for either or both - becoming proficient at either one will have a marked impact on your synth playing. Just bear in mind that if y...

Learning it..?

So. I found my dad's old psr-2 (well, you gotta start somewhere) and then i was sold on synthesizers. Thus i also have the desire to learn to play it properly. But this is a kinda small town. We have a music school, but it only offers piano, accordion and organ as claviatures. So my question is: Is ...
