I played with this at NAMM yesterday, pretty nice. I kinda wished it had another octave at least. And maybe a controller neck on the left plus guitar strap pegs :) I can't wait to hear it through a nice full-range amp or a bass amp though, I only got to hear it through phones. Looks like some former Ableton developers are working on a DAW of their own. Caught my attention for the cross platform bit - native linux version too!

Ahh linux... there's a fair bit of good stuff out there. Ardour 3 will include midi - it's currently in Beta, should be a blast when it comes out as a stable release. Ahhh the mighty Zynaddsubfx (or Yoshimi if you prefer!) Not really VST in linuxland, but Zyn/Yoshimi-->JACK-->Renoise... nice.
