I am looking fwd to A/B The Arturia Origin with these Creamware synths. Seeing as the Arturia Origin is basically just the same as their Minimoog emulation (provided you dont swap any modular elements with any or thier others, eg use their ARP 2600 oscillators)-it will sound the same as the Minimoo...

Cool. One other thing: Has anybody used a minimax with an up to date OS?

I read Creamware said they were going to sort out the stepping in the freq. knob-which I head today and didnt like to much.......

I just tried out a Minmax I it was good fun. I have to say the poly certainly opens up loads of possibilities. I thinkk it sounds pretty phat but unless the headphones I was using were crap-and they did look cheap-I still found it to be a little digital sounding......It would be a toss up for me bet...

The Studio Electronics Synths (SE1) are around the same price as the money youd pay for one of these......wouldnt it be better to get real analogue? Or are they good enough to stand alongside?

when you say the envelopes are slow - do you mean that its not punchy? what side effect does that have?
