Re: MFB Nanozwerg, Urzwerg, Microzwerg & Megazwerg

Nanozwerg looks like it could be a no brainer if you dont already have some MFB...

Re: Spectral Audio Neptune II or Moog Little Phatty Stage II

they say the MFB Synth 2 or better Kraftzwerg has a reasonably vintage sound...at a good price...I have to say I never thought the Neptune sounded very vintage...

awesome video!

I would also love to hear some standard bass and lead sounds if you have the time to make another vid. Props for all your synth vids - very helpful!

Re: I've tried every softsynth - the best one is...

I prefer the Sonic Projects OP-X Pro

Its a matter of taste tho. I think imposcar is average.

The Virus TI is the best all round softsynth really. Of course that is debatable whether it is a 'softsynth'...

Re: MFB Kraftzwerg worth it???

well the whole point of the Kraftzwerg for me is the cost and simple format. I have specced out Eurorack systems before and they quickly get expensive - I mean the case on its own is around €300...before anything. With the Kraftzwerg you get a full system in handy desktop size for €450 and €400 if y...

Dig the '80s Night Drive' sound of some of these new blog reported artists and the Valerie crew...

can you give me any pointers on chords/harmony rules for this type of sound?

Re: MFB Kraftzwerg worth it???

I think I'm pretty much sold on one. Yeah, a doepfer mini case would be perfect with it as well. I'll probably add a 2nd filter and another odd module maybe the zorlon cannon and some multiples. Just have to wait a few weeks for ye old tax return to come in. :) any ideas of a nice CV controlable fi...

as far as i've been able to test so far, it appears to be 100% or something damn near close. sounds amazing.

slight issue though--it appears to be alive.

can you buy a MIDI CV interface and take a laptop? Or do you have a MOTU interface that you can use as a CV output box? (With Volta demo or Expert Sleepers Silent Way)...

Re: buy an iffy arp 2600 for $1000?

$1000 is little for an ARP...do you have a good tech? If you do who is up for some work - then I think likely you have something with good investment potential. But you should be prepared to perhaps have to shell out to get it working...and view it as a long term project... I have to admit - if you ...

Re: Help me choose... Pro One, Odyssey, or Source?

I had Pro 1 and now have a SOurce. Hands down I prefer the sound of the Source - but I think it is a preference thing...People rave about the Pro One - but it seems more for the utility aspect - IE fast envelopes and good modulation section. The sound is good - but IMO the vintage Moog sound is spec...
