Re: Cheapest Drum Machine w/Individual Outs?
If you don't need a sequencer on it, maybe an akai s1000 or similar? They have plenty of outputs.

One of them looks like a SH-2 at least.

Re: Roland SH01
Do you really need 64 voices on a non-multitimbral synth though? Or is the GM engine part of that polyphony number?

I think I read somewhere that the displays are actually just one 24" screen with the knobs and stuff covering parts of it.

The specs on mine are 10.5V DC, 1.5A, plus centre. http://azsurplus.com/index.php?main_pag ... anguage=en this one looks right, but you might want to wait for a reply from one of the more knowledgeable members to be sure.

Re: Yamaha Aieb1/2
That seems to be what most sites say (as well as the SU), and yet yamaha.com claims the A4000/5000 takes the AIEB2, not the AIEB1. Perhaps the AIEB2 is backwards compatible?meatballfulton wrote:AIEB1 is for A-series samplers.
AIEB2 is for RS7000 and Motifs.
They add six analog outs, SPDIF I/O on RCA and optical.

Yamaha Aieb1/2
I assume these are not interchangeable? What makes them different? Sorry if this is rather useless, but it's so frustrating to see Aieb1s all day and every day while Aieb2s are super-rare.
