Re: yamaha dx200 tell me about it

There's two or three bass sounds too (on octave for each), but yeah, mainly percussion/fx type sounds.

Re: Mapping Out a New MIDI Setup, Need Advice...

The RS7000 has 2 midi outs, so if one of your other synths have midi thru, you won't need the switcher.

I guess the main limitation of tha setup would be that you can only record midi info from the keytar and the the RS7000 (its knobs can be configured to transmit any cc).

I love my mfb synth 2 to death though, great vcos, great filter, just not the best envelopes in the world.
What about the LFO's in one-shot mode?

I enjoy mine as well, although I wish it had full control over the FM from the front panel.

While SM cards aren't exactly cheap, they are not nearly as expensive as they were a few years ago when they were not available new.

Re: Need a Hardware MIDI Sequencer, Looking at the Yamaha RMX-1

Absolutely ZERO realtime loop remix facilties for any midi data what so ever. .... you sure? I thought that was the default assignment of the knobs at the top-right of the rm1x That's the Play FX, the Real Time Loop Remix feature cuts up a midi pattern and rearranges it for variations (in real-time...

Re: Need a Hardware MIDI Sequencer, Looking at the Yamaha RMX-1

I seem to recall hearing that there is some kind of bug on the RM1X where the sequencer sends unwanted patch change messages or something? I'm sure an owner could elaborate or disconfirm that. Thanks for the replies! Hmm... How many notes can the EMU store? The RS7000? I could be making some long so...

Re: Evolver wavetable creation

There is a program that was designed to make trans-waves for ensoniq synths-can't remember what it was called but it's posted on here somewhere-that exports them, and sort of gives you accurate control over shape... still kind of hard to make anything "new" though (I think with the 90? waves in the...

I don't think it's directly related to the ESQ-1/SQ-80. More of a early 90s type rompler I think.
