i absolutely love my nord modular. im constantly learning new things with it, and love that i can go and make up a patch that i thought up in my head. the fact that im actually understanding it enough that i know how to make that patch makes me happy too :)

a few tracks of mine

hey guys, i figured I could share some of my music that i've posted on myspace. I've put up 4 tracks. A little breakdown of each track for those interested in what i used 01. "let it go" is mainly the moog modular vst, along with some guitars, and the drums at the end were programmed in reason. 02. ...

I love all the modular sounds on Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero. The synth that comes in on God Given during the chorus is amazing. The Greater Good has that really cool modular pattern. really like the noises at the beginning of Another Version of The Truth, especially when turned up. I really like the...

my nord modular is my backbone synth, maybe that's because the two synths that i have are the nord modular and a nord lead 2...I dont know how that would work if I had a Virus for example. For the longest time, before I had my nord modular, the lead 2 was my backbone synth, and I still like having i...

I program my own sounds 95% of the time, but sometimes ill have a preset that just works, and is the sound im looking for, in which case ill use it. I also modify presets sometimes, and end up coming up with original sounds. As long as I dont use presets that I've heard before.....because if i've he...

I just listened to it again, and i listened to the live version, and both would appear to be tony playing his bass with his sticks, which gives it that sharper clickier attack, which i assumed was a synth. that's cool! thanx!

ill look around for that video on youtube! :) thanx for the heads-up!
