Re: Keyboard with decent Farfisa organ sound

Roland XP series with Keyboards of the 60's and 70's card? But seems like overkill for the task.

Re: Same old school SK-1 sounds in new model??

There is a plugin: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/v_ds_v ... n_anderson. But I don't know, how close it is to the original gear.
EDIT: Unfortunately, it looks like the site of maker is no more.

Re: so Juno 60's are about £1000 now? what the h**l?!

I see nothing wrong in that claim. Its the cruel reality. everyone has their hobbys and some are more expensive than other -- especially sportcars and some women are very expensive to keep them running next to kids -- they are the biggest money-robbers as You know if just counting up the costs. But...

Re: "Wonderful Christmas Time" by Wings Synth?

thanks to this thread I've heard "Wonderful Christmas Time" for the first time. And I've never heard it "in the wild" after that. So, thanks VSE. <slow clap> Good work. </slow clap> ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SS24_CgwEM SCNR 8-) Nah, it wasn't that bad. Hearing "Last Christmas" on the othe...

Re: Any nice sounding Jupiter 8 demos?

As promised, here's a video of some Jupiter 8 noodling from a couple of years ago. It starts off with JP-8 in WHOLE mode (standard 8 voice mono-timbral) running through Strymon BigSky reverb pedal. Next, I add the TR-808 & TB-303 and put the JP-8 in DUAL mode and have the UPPER and LOWER parts hard...

Re: Editor/Librarian for Roland Juno 106?

The Java link works for me, I've managed to download it without any problems. Direct link is http://www.jarvik7.net/juno-106/j106.zip. I didn't check it with Juno, but few months ago it was working just fine.

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12

Why can't I find a link to damn synth on the Behringer site?! Why is it NOT under keyboards? Am I being trolled? I assume they will put it on their website in time, when it hit the shops. In the past Behringer had few products (Motor controllers, UMC1820 interface), which were announced and then de...

Re: AKAI TomCat analog drum machine???

As far as I remember, it was introduced after (almost) everyone on the internet - how to put it lightly? - expressed their deep dissapointment about Rhytm Wolf. I think it really is Rhytm Wolf without its questionable bass synth with disco toms instead and different distortion (I think). Probably an...

UMR2 and all of the other Highly Liquid products are still around, they're here: http://www.highlyliquid.com Although they seem to be sold out of UMR2's at this point in time. I have several UMR's in my casios - they're great! Cheers, Graham Yes, I'm aware of the site, but it looks abandoned - John...
