Re: Tom Oberheim to show new synth on Wednesday?

yeah, it's the new SEM although i dont know about that case. in the source you can actually read tomoberheim.com on the SEM, but another tell-tale sign is that it lacks the Oberheim logo on the SEM itself.

Re: sq-80 vs esq-1

as a PEK user with a gazillion hours logged programming the keyboard, i think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the *SQ80* sounds. sonically i tend to prefer the SQ80 although the extraordinary functionality of the PEK is, well, extraordinary and it's definitely the more flexible of th...

you obviously haven't watched a Redbull Music Academy interview. just assume they also wrote that he invented the screwdriver and cured polio and you'll enjoy the experience more.

Re: motu 828mk3 users here?

i'd say when you compare motu to apogee, both the DA and AD are better on apogee with something like an RME fireface its probably only the DA i'm no expert or scientist, just going by what i heard, it was instantly obvious on both the RME and apogee, and we were comparing with a 2408mkIII for the a...

Re: motu 828mk3 users here?

there is no reason the 828 is not a great product, by all means it is, but the fact is better converters do sound better i don't doubt there's great sounding stuff out there that i've never used. did you actually use an 828mk3 for the test or was it another piece of MOTU gear? what part of the conv...

Re: What synth (s) you own but haven't played for over 1 year
