"which synth has the best noise generator" :?:

(Am I interpreting "waves" properly?)
I'm not too fussed about waves . . . recordings of the real things are pretty realistic. . or just some interesting noise with a bit of envelope

just the time it would take to go from hitting record to actually playing anything would give you space in front of the loop that would throw it off time. Yeah. . I figure if it could overdub though, youd be able to start it recording earlier than when you needed to play into it? Ill check out some...

small simple multi-loop sampler

OK I'm going to try a new concept for me. .. . a kind of live PA improvisation thing - basically it would involve playing a synthline into a loop sampler, then looping it. .then bassline, etc etc.... and if i wanted to vary the loop, i would just mute the loop and play live the variation. I'm not su...

Virus desktop (A/B/C/classic) owners - some info please

Can you please tell me what the output voltage(s) of the external power supply are?
(Eg. the voltage that goes from the power supply into the virus.)

I'm hoping it's only 1 single voltage (and DC), and not a bunch of separate ones or AC.

Help appreciated!

Would a virus of some sort fit the bill? I think all the models of virus have an internal power supply. . . but if one of them happened to have an external power supply. . that would be freakin awesome Why should it have to be able to run on batteries? Do you wish to play it while you're driving? I...

Help me find a synth that meets these criteria..

OK so far I've had no luck finding something that fits these criteria, I signed up here hoping someone can help me: 1) Digital. . not bothered what type of digital. FM, virtual analogue, whatever... 2) Multitimbral (at least 3 timbres at once, not layered together but rather each playing a different...
