programming bass sound-as super sharp shooter+double 99 rip

a car has just drove past my office with some very loud speed garage playing.... however.... the bass line was a sound i've been trying to program for a while.... i've heard variations of it on several tunes: super sharp shooter..... i have also heard a less obvious use in 'spin spin sugar' by sneak...

MPC sequencing technique

when in overdub you can hold 'erase' and then press keyboard notes and it deletes the notes you are holding down... does anyone know how to use this technique but in play mode? so you are muting the notes but not deleting them? i've found this would be really useful for a few things - trying to iden...

you might consider switching the korg for a Yamaha Cbx-1 controller. i got mine for £20. it runs on battereies, is tough as nails and is great to work with.

MPC floppy disk failure

i went to load up my asq10 and the disk seemed to have re formatted itself. bye bye all sequences. there is a v/v/slim chance i had accidently hit re format and not save whilst being very drunk but i really doubt i would. has anyone experienced this or other floppy disk failures? how do you mpc/asq1...

have you considered the vermona perfourmer? gives you loads of control - mono's or poly setup, great FM possibilities, really warm and unique tone. built like a tank. pure analogue bliss.

guess it might depend if you need some of the basics like PWM or osc. sync.

I would say if you want your beats to 'tick the box' for dance/trance styles and are using softsynths or va's and can't live without patch storage then you might go for the ER.

if the answer to any of these questions is no - go for the jmx every toime.

Anyone know a retailer that sells them? perferably in the uk?

I'm not overly looking for a sequencer but the midi control over th...
