I've used the editor software on my macbook, and it does crash from time to time. Maybe it's got something to do with my particular mac, but it's still workable. Especially if you just use it for quick loading of patches.

If I were you, I'd stay away from the DR-202.

I've had it for a time, but I sold it because it sounded too weak.
If you were about to choose between the DR-202 and the ER-1, I'd definately go for the ER-1.
