Remember that K3M has a strange midi behavior due to the fact that two k3M can be stacked to double the voice. When it receives more than 6 notes it sends them to the midi out to play another K3M. But this cause some issues with sysex... well not really a problem but you must be aware of this. So fo...

The k3 is huge... so I waited till I found the rack version: the K3M. The K3M has real buttons, not membrane but no alpha dial, what a pity. I bought it for 100 euros with 3 cartridges. All in perfect condition. Now I'm waiting the big hype and when it raises the 1000 euros and ppl scream looking at...

Let's hype another hybrid from the '80ies

I have a Kawai K3M... a strange 6 voice beast. It uses sampled OSCs but everything else in analog. It uses SSM 2044 filters. Analog filters (and amp) really makes the difference. The K3M has an incredible low end... more than my A6, It's hard to believe... but it's true. It does beautiful pads, bras...

Ok, I got the point. Yes... I really... really would like to buy a voyager. I can't. A 2nd hand Voyager RME would be the best solution for me. But I don't buy expensive gear on ebay.. I want to see and try before buying such an expensive thing. So I need to find a 2nd one in some stores and it's ver...

Thanks for your suggestion... I think I'll buy the LP in september. I was thinking on getting a 2nd hand voyager RME... It's near the price of a new LP... but It's very difficult to find one and to put it simply I need simple classic moog leads and basses... leaving the A6 for pads, strings and weir...

Moog LP + A6: does it makes sense?

I'm planning to buy a Moog LP to put aside my A6. After playing hours with a Voyager I think that I "like&need" that sound. But LP is not the Voyager (the third OSC really changes something) and I'm asking myself if the LP worths a knife on my back from my wife seeing me coming back with another syn...

Juno6, I'm happy to know you can do Moog sounds on the Andy. I've tried saveral times... quite 50% of my own sounds try to emulate moog leads. A friend of mine let me stay hours on his voyager to "grab" as much as I can... but really I didn't find a way to replicate the smooth, sweet moog sound.... ...

Andromeda have really a wide palette... but... you have to learn well how to use it. It's extremely powerful but needs months to fully appreciate it. Preset in the A6 are awful.. they seems coming out from a workstation... but initialising a sound, disabling mods and starting from scratch will gives...

Really cool overlay... where did you buy it? Is it expensive? It's something coming from the Aurora Andromeda mod?
