Re: The SECOND thing you do when getting a new synth...
Put it down somewhere, like on the couch, or a shelf or something, then head off to ebays and forums looking for a different synth.
This one's no longer shiny and new.

Redback spiders also don't look like the picture on the brochure, colours are reversed, black, with a red stripe / blotch.

Re: Access Limited Edition?
yes, the red black is particularly rare. It was called the "Redback" edition and was the same size/specs/price of the Indigo 2, with the black/red colour scheme of the Virus C/KC (and could have sworn it also featured a picture of a redback spider on it. Are you happy?
Yes: You got a good good deal.
No: You didn't get a good deal.
Last swap I did with two synths for one was getting a Waldorf Q keyboard for a MS2000 and a µQ rack. Suited me fine, I was (still am) happy and have never stressed about it at all.

Re: One is not enough!
Used to have four TB-303's at the same time.
Intention was always to keep one minty, get one Devilfished and sell the other two if needs be.
Tried selling one off, and ended up selling all four of them, ah well, c'est la vie, not a massive fan of the 303 anyway.

Re: Polivoks+ JP8000 for Prophet 08?
I'd try and demo the Prophet 08 a bit more, see how you feel about it.
Personally I'd hold onto the Polivoks, and look at a JP-8000 + cash for the Prophet 08.
Where are you located?

Re: Today's Best Value
The correct answer is V-Synth, but even though most V-Synth owners have been shouting it from the rooftops people still seem slow to catch on. I'm working on it... Waiting for: a) A good deal to pop up locally. b) Understanding the difference between the different versions. (a.k.a. Been too lazy to...
