I had never even thought about purchasing an organ until I saw that Vox prototype. Hottest thing with keys, it is.

I can't think of a close equivalent offhand. It would need CEM filters, ring modulation, and polyphonic capabilities to really nail it. The closest I've heard is Jexus's AX-80 demo. The AX-80, of course, has CEM filters, ring modulation, and polyphonic capabilities :) edit: I forgot to add that you...

I'd just control it via midi and not even look at, breathe on it too hard.

Thanks for the info. I need to replace the bushings in my Oddy, so I might as well clean these at the same time.

Just traded a MEK for a DEvo. The devo's knobs + matrix are fine, but the display is driving me nuts. You're going through a patch and suddenly it goes all Babylonian cuneiform on you.

Odyssey cleanup questions

Just got my Mk1 Oddy from nadafarms today, and the faders require some serious cleaning. I've got a can of Deoxit FaderLube F5 handy. Can I use this on the Oddy without damaging the faders? The keyboard is also sticky - not sure what to use there either.

Got my Odyssey from nadafarms today. Condition was exactly as described and the Oddy was RIDICULOUSLY overpacked. Nothing short of a direct hit from a nuke would have taken that package out en route.

And no, it's not shitty, Multiple timbres coming out of the same outs is shitty in an absolute sense. You can't run them through separate external EQ or FX. You have to track each timbre separately to achieve this, which renders the source effectively monotimbral if you have any sort of production ...
