synths -> Soundcraft Spirit Studio desk -> MOTU 828mk2

Master stereo out and buses 3-8 go to the 8 ins in the back of the motu. I could also use the per-track tape sends if I were so inclined. I could get a lot done if I didn't suck with Logic

Odyssey Mk1 CV/midi mod?

Anyone ever add a Synhouse MIDIJACK to one of these? Did it work well? I'm not sure whether I should add that or a Kenton CV kit to mine. Is it possible to add both?

the AX60 and the polysix DO NOT sound like each other at all, the ax60 has more versitillity overall but I think the polysix has a much richer sound, I own both right now and i think they both excel in different areas but one could never replace the other This is exactly why I am looking at AX60s. ...

828mkII user here as well. Solid all the way. I mean in every respect. Haven't had any driver or software problems, and you could probably drive a car over it. Superglue it to the bottom of a girder and dangle from it. That sort of thing.

Always keep the bass centered. Humans can't sense direction on low signals very well, so panning one left and one right won't help at all. EQ them out of the same range or set up a compressor sidechain to duck the bassline when the kick hits.
