I have an Ion that I love so much I'm going to buy another AND a Micron. MIDI chain them together to increase the Ion's polyphony to 24 voices and 12 timbres. What's wrong with that? I've been running out of voices often while playing my Ion. Plus I plan to do some DIY mods to one of my Ion's so yea...

Well I think...

Fusion 8
Electribe ESX
and any one of these... Virus TI, Q+, Andromeda

would cover all the bases.

Nova won't reply to my e-mails anymore (also about the Kaossilator), so I guess they are sick of me asking about it.... It does piss me off though...since I buy alot from them. Nova doesn't answer my emails either, you're much better off calling their 800 number. But they've demonstrated thei...

Damn. Of the demos I've heard, the Blofeld sounds pretty awesome. Good drums, strange out-of-this-world sounds, and some Bn'B sounds too. I wish that I wouldn't have to wait til 2012 for that Stromberg to come out. From now on, I'm not looking into anything made by Waldorf until it's in stock.

What did Waldorf have at NAMM... the same stuff they had last year? We still don't have the Blofeld yet, we're a long way (if ever) from having the Stromberg available, and where's my f**k' Q+!?!

And I like the handles on the X50... makes it a lot easier swing it up against a large solid object.

Waldorf's North American distributor... http://www.mvproaudio.com/ says they are shipping Blofelds right now but that's got to be bullshit..... maybe in Europe but not here. Meanwhile it's been three months since I placed my order for the Q+ and still nothing. I couldn't get any kind of straight ans...

I read every post on this thread because I too am looking to upgrade from my Logitech 5.1 system, after many complaints of my music not having good "low-end". How does the amount of space you have affect the monitors sound? I have a large full basement to work in, so what considerations must I make ...

I brought this topic up, because I'd like to start my own audio gear company someday. Yeah, it likely won't happen but it's still nice to think about improving synth design. I've seen a lot of good ideas for features not commonly found in most synths. Yeah the NeKo is sweet, but I think it's a bit t...

Solaris is pretty sweet. So far it seems to be the ultimate hybrid. I'm surprised it's only $3999. I assumed it would be more than that when I first read about it. Not to say $3999 isn't expensive. Regular and expansive OS upgrades make the Solaris a good contender in the league of great synth desig...

I read a little about this in an issue of Keyboard. You've piqued my interest. Time to look into this some more. http://www.johnbowen.com ;) Current specs include: Oscillators - 4, each osc type selects from standard waveshapes, wavetable (PPG) type, sample playback, CEM (Prophet 5) type, or Prophe...

Why does everyone always complain? It's a requirement in a thread. Some people like to start arguments. Probably why some people don't like this forum anymore. I try not to let it bother me when someone gets all worked up about something I said and to what they say in response. I'm not here t...

This tread is not to complain... I'm just trying to gather opinions on what features people like. I used those particular synths as examples of great, cutting edge products. And I will get a TI, probably by the end of next year. Right now it's not a priority because TI's are plentiful. There are a l...
