Re: Machinedrum Vs. Machinedrum UW

definately get the UW. I was in the same boat as you when I got mine, would it be worth the extra $500? mine is old now, but even without the +Drive I'd say it was well worth it, I'm sure you'll lust for the UW if you get the regular version :)

Re: TrondC - "Blizzard Dub" machinedrum/monomachine dub/step

haha, that's a fun review ;) I'm not entirely satisfied with this, were there anything in particular you think I have problems with? I'm not much into the dubstep scene, but I love the half-tempo feel :) one of my labels quite liked this so I want to make a finished version, if I EVER get the time t...

Re: StYle FLip BitchEs, Yea Uh!

Looks like the...

Re: StYle FLip BitchEs, Yea Uh!

I was very happy with my crazy-looking ESX back in the day ;) been thinking about making two skins that make up one whole image, and stretch them over my elektrons, but

1) they only do the Machinedrum for now (!?)
2) the elektrons already look pretty sexy ;)

checking new stuff :)

wow, has it really gone so low that artists have to lure people into hearing their tracks? the struggle for attention is fierce, but this is just lame...

Re: Siesta Submarina (TrondC) Liveset 2011

thanx :)

yeah the name just arried from a train of thought and I thought it fit the mood of a track I was working on. initially a track title I just sort of got stuck there. and YES, it is a bit complicated and many a moon have I been thinking about changing into a simpler, shorter name... :)

Re: Syn303 - Konfusion 3 (Dub)

definately one of the best I've heard from you, fast paced with those busy hihats, I for one prefer the 303 like it is, no big tweaks works well here. I also find this track more complex than your previous works, the layering and mixing is very spot on, i went straight ahead and listened to this aga...

now, this is interesting, but like with the x0xb0xen, I would only buy a pre-built version, anyone doing that?

Siesta Submarina (TrondC) Liveset 2011

30 minutes of live electronics, goes from deep and mellow to percussive and bouncy (or something like that..) and ends on a noisy techno all-in. made for a gig tonight, but will expand this further, also playing atleast twice the next month. Machinedrum UW mk2 (all drums, some melodic elements, stab...

Re: Elektron Octatrack!

I still have yet to determine how this is any different than s**t I can do in ableton, except for maybe the hardware making it easier for workflow or something? yes, ableton can probably do 95% of the same things, but he whole point (as I see this) is the Hardware approach, quick, intuitive and eas...

Re: New DSI instrument!

wow! was not expecting this at all! $2000 is a great price, just compare it to the other analog drum machine out there, the metasonix one..

now how on earth to afford this + the octatrack is the question.. :p
