One is actually a keyboard found at a thrift store and its brand name is Miracle. I've tried looking to up but turned up no information. It has only 8 preset sounds, and you can split 2, but the piano actually doesn't sound too bad. Another one I saw at my church in the basement, it's a general elec...

I also have cables that connect to an amp.. and I tried plugging those in to my micron and convert just one of the jacks into a 1/8' but that didn't work. Maybe I need a different soundcard? Because it's really made for gaming.

This was a custom built computer, as in all the parts were bought separately and put together. I'm using the creative soundblaster x-fi. So to answer your question I guess I am using the soundcard that was attached to the motherboard.

I was expecting for sound to immediately come out of the speakers. Do I need a program to be able to hear my synth being played? I was thinking software would only be needed to record the sounds.

Will these cables work?

I found these cables in my house and I was wondering if these cables are able to play my synth through the computer. Does it have to be a certain cable type or will any work? It looks really similar to these cables http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CMP310/ which allows you to play and record yo...

Resetting Micron with normal patches

So I downloaded a bunch of Ion sound banks and turns out I already had alot of the sounds, and now my patches are all over the place, mostly in the "Comp" category. Is there anyway where I can just wipe the system or reset it to just default patches? Or will I have to delete them 1 by 1?

ok so now i uploaded some ion soundbanks and i find out that a lot of the sounds the micron already has, so now my categories are all disorganized. A lot of the sounds are just in the "comp" category is there anyway I can just delete the whole system? Or do I have to delete each program one by one?

wow, it worked I seriously appreciate it man, I went to another forum asking the same directions, and no one really gave me straight instructions. Thank you very much, you saved me 40 bucks. One more question, I can load up ion patches to this thing right?
