I have always loved "Beauborg" since I first heard it as an impressionable 13 year old.I produced my own "tribute" to it some time ago called "High Rise",alas no CS80 but using a Yamaha CS2x. "Soil Festivities" is probably my favourite Vangelis album,the sounds and exquisite production are so textur...

I love my ION and it amazes me every time I turn it on.
Its a very sexy-looking machine too in my humble opinion.I have never understood people maligning "lack of effects"-if you want "effects" you get a dedicated unit!Hm! :lol:

I really liked it Peter.I agree that a minimal approach can sometimes work extremely well-we are all different in the way we make music,but I have a small set-up and try to make what little I have go a long way.
The piece reminded me of the wonderful "Dignity of Labour" by early Human League.
