i picked one up a while back and used it on my microKORG, comparing to the inbuilt phaser effect. it's a very nice effect, but it's a little on the "thin" side. Just read your thread thanks. As I've been researching these I've read that the vintage units like yours are prized for their wet setting ...

Hi Hoss,
Thanks for the info. I see you use one yourself. I would be interested to see how it would sound running the FS1r into it. I should write a review and post a tune I did exclusively with it. It is way more than FM with the filters it can sound very big and bold!

Hi Stab,
Thanks for the advice. 8)
Do you have an opinion on which vintage is favored? I know they made quite a few versions over the years.

EH small stone phaser

Anybody using an electro harmonix small stone phaser either in an aux send in your mixer (my probable setup) or your synth straight into it?
How do you like it any opinions on these or any other analog effects are welcome.

I never understood why anyone would want a keytar outside of the moog liberation, clavitar, pms syntar, and possible the remote for the p5...oh yeah you can rock the sh-101 like a keytar..... Truth is I've always had the same opinion. Why get one of those instead of more efx or synths, etc. h**l I ...

Thanks guys, Hoss, as for the Axis, one went today for $950 I picked up the KX-5 for $375. I think I'll use some of the difference to pick up either a CME-Pro-WIDI-X8 Wireless MIDI Interface or MidiJet Pro. Anybody have any experience with either of these wireless midi systems? I can't wait to pack ...

Hi wiss,
So it will accept cc# messages. But are you saying it has trouble digesting cc# messages on the fly? Say, I program the Kenton for filter cutoff.
The JX-10 would have trouble with a filter sweep in a live scenario?
Thanks again for your help!

Having great feedback as a seller is critical to getting top dollar. But, a few other hints, allow international shipping, a lot of foreign currency is very strong compared to the dollar these days. I sold a Korg Z1 to a guy in Argentina a few months ago. I just required him to pay via Western Union...
