I think the mix is very good already, very spacious! I can't listen to it loudly on my monitors at this late hour, but on my headphones everything seems A OK, including the bass(which is one badass moth***** :) )

I've read quite a lot of reviews and they all agreed that it has very good converters, in the same legaue(maybe even a little bit better) as the fireface. Drivers are also believed to be very stable, so if line ins and outs is all you need, I'd say go for it!

well it's not a synth, but my ex-mixer Pioneer djm 500, which had a beatcounter, would sometimes display a number 666 on it instead of the actual bpm(which was usually in the 130-140 range) :) i think the developpers implemented this function to scare the poor dj's, hehe...
