Has anyone recieved anything from them yet? I have been eyeing the SM-16 sequencer, but I am reluctant to front any cash until I at least know that someone has received a BC-16 or an SM-16. I have corresponded with him about the SM-16, and he still has not listed any mini-banana to 1/8" or 1/4" cabl...

Mochika Synth as Sequencer
Has anyone one bought the Mochika Analog Tabletop synth from Atomo that is available on ebay? Have you used it as a sequencer for your analog gear? How well does it work? Is it easy enough to dial in your notes, change them, and find the same setting again? I would like to use the Mochika mainly for...

Has anyone received one yet? According to their website, batch 2 closes out on March 10th, and the price will climb from $229 to $299 for batch 3. It looks like a cheap way to add many modular functions (noise, sample and hold, Ring Mod, ADSR generator) to my MF setup and ARP Solus for very little m...

I'm with Entropy Farmer...I run my Ody dry no LPF and love the sound. Of course a bit of filter only sweetens it up, like icing on a cake. Can't say the same thing for my Prodigy or MS20. Those sound best with a bit of filtering. I find the same thing with my ARP Solus. I do no know if it has the e...

My ARP Solus came built-in to a case, which makes it very easy to transport. I also have seen that there is one or two companies on ebay that are making ATA rated hard cases for most synths. That do not look to be that expensive, either. Actually many guitars and basses are now priced without any ca...

That was simply amazing! Thank you alan for posting thos youtube links! I always remember my first time seeing the VCS3, as it was seen in the footage of Pink Floyd in the Studio making "On the Run" that was in the "Live at Pompeii" movie. This was my first exposure to this weird little box with pus...

The AS synths are based on modules, so they are TOTALLY analog. No digital EG's or LFOs in sight. Do you have any idea how expensive analog modular synths are these days? A simple 2VCO, 2EG, VCF and Mixer synth would cost at least twice of what he wants. . Since the Red Square sells in the USA for ...

Well, I think that my story is close to a lot of those who have posted on this thread. I am 41 years old, and I bought my first synth, a brand new Jen SX-1000, for $100 in 1986. I was a struggling college student, but I had a great summer job and the money was burning a hole in my pocket. I was an o...

The Three 107's and the 101 would be a start. You would probably need something like Moog's CP-251 which would add a noise source, simple (2 waveform) LFO, simple mixer, Sample and hold, as well as a mult to control the pitch CV for all three 107's from one CV in source, and there are also two atten...
