Re: My bands music video

Very melancholic, is the lead singer the main songwriter as well ?

How does it feel to go from a bedroom full of dreams to actually living that dream ?

Re: My first youtube-clip!

Okay, I liked the first one, the piano was simple and melodic and it seemed to tie in well with the rhythm , reminded me of early electronic music, Kraftwerk or Jarre, but at the same time modern, uplifting.

I didnt listen to all of the second track as it sounds a bit muffled on my pc speakers

Re: List of Midi Editors/Synths featuring the "Randomize" button

Not sure if it in the right category but the An1x editor has a randomize setting, you can either randomize all settings or just select the ones you want.

But I still get post in my mail....anyway "there's a hidden 'test' mode in the AN1x, intended for factory and servicing use only. You enter it by powering up the synth whilst holding down t...

Re: What was the cheapest Synth you ever bought?

My CS1x would have to be my cheapest, I was bidding on it on ebay and my budget was £80, the bidding went way over this but never went past the reserve. For some reason the seller offered it to me for £80 Nice lady, its not the best synth in the world but it does what I wanted it for, and it must ha...

Re: Check out my band's new song, it's full of Andromeda

It was quite dark, I was getting hints of Joy Division and the Cure at one point. By the 2nd or third verse I was ready to hear the guitars kick in with the rhythm but it never happened. Good soundtrack for a film though, is it about vampires ? How did the band name come about ? Enjoyed the song btw...

Re: SHIOITOR

+1 for D16, the demos are pretty much crippled but I've seen the full versions and the are pretty amazing. If SH101TOR is any bit as good as Drumazon et al then it will be one of the best vst's for a while.

Re: HIT THAT PERFECT BEAT! [Bronski Beat.]

Sorry to dredge up an old thread but its such a good one. I first became aware of Bronski beat when I was at school, along with Depeche Mode they were one of the first bands that made me sit up and listen to synth based music. It was whilst watching them perform "Why" that I realised there had to be...
