Well, a 90% working Odyssey can only go up in value, and is probably a relativly easy fix. Whereas a 90% working Q would be worth very little. I personally would never part with my Odyssey, not even for a Q+.
That Odyssey looks really nice too! And they make a great CV controller.

CZ, Just curious. How reliable is that Synclavier unit? Well,so far it has been great! (Knock on the mahogany wood!) I did a little work to it when I first found the unit. This one is the Tony Banks model, 16 voice FM/additive, plays resynthesis disks, but without the mono sampler option, can't rol...

What is a 2600 worth then? Here is an auction just ended for over $10,000.00. I think I would go for a Moog modular at that price.

Modding a Mini? Whatever you do to your own synth to customize or enhance is taking your synth playing to the next level. I still remember reading the first issue of Keyboard magazine where Larry Fast described playing his modded Mini as " I felt like a greaser with a 396 Chevelle". Nothing like tak...

Hey Everybody, My first post to this list! I am a Monosynth Junkie. I started out playing a Minimoog in 1974, and still to this day can not get enough of my Monosynths. Not only is it so much the sound, but the user interface, as the monosynth is basically a one hand/one arm instrument. And it seems...
