i use battery... programming beats and rythmic stuff, own samples only, preferrably not drums but other sounds tweaked to work as a beat anyway.

hardware? no. never felt the need.

wait with the pianopurchase until you assured the last part of part 1 of this post.

I got a Firebox a month ago and have been using it alot since.

It's great! No lowdowns at all, and the buildquality is great.

I also have a RME Hammerfall Multiface PCMCIA, but I wanted something with built-in preamps, and for the money, Firebox is on fire... (as my humour at the moment...)

G4 1.67Mhz RME Hammerfall Multiface, and I just bought a Presonus Firebox for portability w/ preamps. Logic (6.4.3, thinking of upgrading). I love it. Have a new Mackie 14 ch. mixer, for preamps, dreaming of something really classy like Neve's Portico or so... Avalon... Manley... (probably I'll get ...

I got a custom made, heavyduty flightcase for my MS20. It's expensive though (about 300 uSD), but I think it's the only option, or making it yourself. Any flightcase company could do it, pick one near yourself. Never heard of any gigbags for them... Should be easier with the novation, though I'm not...

The French Connection is of course the THING. At 2250 €... compared to R2M's 275 €...

But, if money isn't an issue. Sure!
