Re: Day 2 Spectralis 2

I do still own and enjoy it! Its taken some time, but I've built speed in programming, and I can always come up with something new with this machine... word on the street is that the new OS has finally been getting attention (due to income from the accelerator) and should be coming out shortly (few ...

Re: Controlling the Waldorf Microwave

No time to look at the manual atm, but I doubt that controller has the ability to do sysex value changes... I Googled the manual. It can be done via the included software editor. Wow..yeah, look at that - sysex string values! Not bad. The only other keyboard controller that I know of that does that...

Re: New DSI instrument!

Love love love this box. I'm starting to figure how to get one... the only thing I'm disappointed about (small disappointment really), after checking the manual, is there is no external sequencing. Not a big deal, but I wonder if this will be in future OS's... Has anyone heard anything regarding thi...

Re: Building a MIDI Keyboard Into a Desk

Do you want it in an existing desk, or a whole new desk? Do you have carpentry skills? Do you know someone who does?

That may be the place to start, cause, as a carpenter, I don't see myself typing instructions on a synth forum on how to do this.

Re: Landed a CHEAP DX7....almost too cheap.

Almost as cheap as the one my buddy found last summer.

It was getting tossed and was on the sidewalk for garbage pickup. It was 'broken'.. weird sounds and scrambled display... My friend literally poked the mainboard inside and its been perfect ever since...

Re: What synth have you been using a lot lately?

I consider my spectralis and virus ti a single unit, and do 95% of everything there. (Except for the odd sample processing, in live)
I had not touched my matrix6 for awhile so I traded it last night for a tetra... I expect to be spending time on the little beasty

Re: just me? or do youtube demos all suck

Ooooh geez. You have to sift through the trillions of bytes of shitty data to find something good. Welcome to the internet. Remember how it used to be? This thread makes me feel old at 35!!?

Reality check.

Re: just me? or do youtube demos all suck

Thats nice. I like the fizmo and am glad you made a video of you playing it. It sounds good. For real. You just brought the quality of synth videos on youtube up by 0.00000000023%. The way I say this is both sincere and sarcastic in the context of the OP. Youtube is so vast and varied. To criticize ...
