um. ah. Gearwire dot com? Oh man the best videos that they have are when they film company demos. Your video was a little better than the one they did of the SH-201, that one was bad just like the Moog LP one. All in all you were missing the walk through from the walk through really. When you got i...

Not really. I'd downloaded the manuals before I bought it so I had a pretty good idea of what the limitations were so I certainly wasn't expecting to be getting something with the capabilities of the Genoqs Octopus at a fraction of the price. I haven't really owned it long enough to be certain just...

Are you guys dissappointed due to the price you paid? If it was under $500, would its limitations be easier to live with? No, the price wasn't really an issue with me because it's so unique. Now if it was mass produced and distributed then yeah the price would scare me away. That thing in reality s...

Yeah, it's so nearly a great idea, but they dumbed it down a bit too much, I guess in the interests of keeping it easy for anyone to use. Then there's stuff like the rotate feature in the random mode that's very clever but not that musically useful, and the "distinctive" sound set that's a bit too ...

Since no-one else is commenting, I'll bite... I've had my Tenori-On for about a fortnight. It makes a good step-time sequencer subject to it's limitations (no velocity, no controller changes, can't automatically chain patterns, crude MIDI implementation, etc) and it's a heck of a lot of fun to play...

Acme - Very 'Plugged in Steve Reich'. Glad someone else appreciates writing music with various mono lines working together.
Lots of good music posted here so far. Keep them coming.

i play most of the fat bass and lead synth lines in my band. all the recordings on discs and myspace are me using a microkorg, but i bought it's older brother, the MS2000B this past month and have been programming my old sounds on it since. I enjoy it for the most part. www.myspace.com/talkaboutthe...

No worries, just looking for some new tunes to listen to and figured most people are uploading them to Myspace. I may be wrong in this case. :)

Yeah, thanks for the posts!! Yeah, obviously I'd love to be able to avoid a Moog but I'm on a budget seeing as I'm a noobie at all this Had a chat with someone from work, MIDI seems like a good option for me in terms of recording stuff, but here was the plan I had: I was going to have a band that w...

Keyboards are real instruments, just because they have midi doesn't make them fake.
