Re: Mystery synth
Korg Personal Keyboard. Stephen Yup. That's the one I'd say. SAS-20. Good call! http://syntezatory.net.pl/korg_personal_keyboard.htm Bit 99 has no arp. HS-1 is a VZ-1, not an FZ-1. "***ATTENTION! It was used by.... guess who...it's so exciting... JEAN MICHEL JARRE, bwaaaaaaaaaaaa... Now everybody s...

Re: New hybrid digital/analogue Roland Synth?
Roland draws features out of a hat, develops a Frankensynth, then slaps "JD" on there. They're definitely getting warmer, but Jesus what's with them? Perhaps not even they know. Hasn't the lack of analog from Roland gone along with their mission statement of always wanting to produce things that so...

Re: Roland JX-8P sound problem
Good to hear your tech can get it sorted out. Mine has been acting up lately, too. Bad clipping in the output, and now the chorus is making the distinctive LFO noise. I know the chorus problem seems to be rather common (my MKS has been doing the same thing). Is it just a matter of replacing t...

Re: SQ8l Aftertouch question
There are seperate options for "Key Press" and "Channel Press", which is what led me to believe that key=poly AT. Was also able to get regular channel AT by using the channel press option.Ashe37 wrote:dunno if that's channel or poly AT...

Re: SQ8l Aftertouch question
Thanks, that's kinda what I figured. Which means the sequencer program I'm using doesn't output poly AT, though there's a MIDI automation listed as "Key Press".

SQ8l Aftertouch question
Does anyone know which modulator in SQ8l corresponds with polyphonic aftertouch? According to the readme, it should work, but I don't see key presssure anywhere in the mod list. Thanks

Re: Behringer to make analog polysynths !
I'd expect them to cut corners there, anyone have any experience with the B control stuff? My BCR is still working fine 4 years on. (knocks on wood) Mostly use it as a second MIDI interface for the computer, but still use it as a control from time to time. None of the encoders have crapped out or g...

Counting the RX7 and Casio SK5, I've got 8. Unfortunately, my M1 and ESQ are in the cases right now pending me getting another stand to put them on.

Aaaaand....still for sale. Don't worry, dude, you'll unload that pesky FB-01 someday.

Edit: This guy really loves the word "vintage".
316 bones for an old DMA yanked from its combo, and 140 for the speaker in a separate auction.
