so im thinking about getting a Fantom XR rack module since they are pretty cheap it seems, but does it have all the capabilites of a Fantom X series keyboard or is it watered down? and what is the difference betwen the X series and the G series in terms of engine?

Multi-synth Librarian Plug-in?

So i recently got my X5 back and realized that software wise it has the same flaw that it has the same flaw as the X50 does, the software SUCKS. I don't understand why they cant just make an editor like Roland's where you can load up a bank of sounds and transfer the ones you want over the a blank b...

Re: Can I hook the Roland JV-1010 into my electric guitar?

the only way you would be able to control the sounds on your JV-1010 through a guitar would be to buy something liek the Roland GR-20 to process the audio signal from a guitar into a MIDI signal, then hooking up your JV to the GR module via midi cable.

Re: Roland JV-1080 Qs... Heeelllp! Help me!

I have recently switched from a JV-1080 to a XP-80 but if i remember correctly you take the patch you want, go to utility on your keyboard and it should say something like "Write" you choose a spot in the User memory (my first set was in the 70's and what ever one you want to be number one on your b...

Re: Roland XP-80 Problem

Could be a bunch of things. Does the XP-80 make that sound when used alone (not hooked to anything)? Does your soundcard (midi equipped?) make that sound when used with something else? What it that weird sound you talk about? Can you describe it or record a sample for us? I never have that problem ...
