Re: Last remaining good value analogue poly synths?

It means when you switch it on, or if it sounds out of tune you can hit auto tune and it will put the oscillators back in tune. I recommend an alpha Juno, however I've only used it with the pg-300 so it might not be as fun if you don't have one. You could use a behringer bcr-2000 with it though or m...

Roland RS-202 strings - Need some help.

Has anyone open one of these up? I borrowed one off a friend tonight, I've played it before and it worked wonderfully. This evening got it back to my house and plugged it in. Upon hitting the ON switch the power light went red for a second and then off again. Now its not working. I'm hoping this is ...

Re: Korg Arp Odyssey

China. Why does it matter? It matters because I recently bought a guitar stand that was made in China and I had some concerns about build quality and I wasn't able to get in touch with the company in the US selling it. Before I purchase something in this kind of price range I like to determine how ...

Yeah. It's the only let down of an otherwise great box.

I honestly think even $60 is worth it. It's one of my favourite drum machines, it sees more use than my 808!

You can also put an effect on a sample, then re sample it to another pad, then add an effect to that, then resample and so on....

Yeah, I didn't know hating on wallwarts was a thing until I read this. They do the job, so no complaints here.

Re: (A mile away!) - P6 vs Elka Synthex

I suppose this one is pretty obvious, and I'm surprised if I'm the first one to post such, but... Prophet 6 vs the forthcoming Elka Synthex. We're assuming that both synths will sound the way we dream they will, so with that as a given... This is why nobody has posted about it, because you're just ...

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey

Yeah, NOTHING looks as cool as a 2600. Except the Macbeth M5, maybe. I think the 2600 looks better the M5 if does not sound like a 2600 defies why it looks like one, likewise why did Korg have to reproduce the Odyssey in the same issues of colour why not a new colour after all its supposed to be a ...

Me too, which is why I personally found the Ms20's envelopes a little slow. I've got an old 2813 Odyssey and the envelopes aren't quite Juno/sh-2/Minimoog/sh-101 speed, but are definitely faster than the Ms-20 IMO.
