Using Logic 8 mainly, some arrangements are done in Ableton 5. I want to get one of my older Mac set up so I can run Master Tracks Pro again. Sadly I can not find my Master Tracks disks. Anyone have a copy?

Master Tracks Pro was one of the best sequencers IMHO

The Prophet 08 was a really well thought out synth. I guess the big thing is unlike the (Poly)Evoler it has to live up to the name "prophet" This is a tricky area. You want it to sound and operate like a Prophet, but you want it to be something new. I haven't quite been stunned my the new Moogs. alt...

1. DX or CZ? The CZ has a noise modulator, other then that I have no use for either. 2. Juno-60 or Juno-106? Juno 60, People want to much for the 106, and even though it is slightly less massive it weighs more. 3. SH-09 or SH-101? SH-09 has better construction, but the 101 is a keytar. 4. Poly-61 or...

Well, I think many Roland boards are great for strings. I have to be honest I am not a fan of many Roland synths that came out since the early 80's, but for strings they are a must. I recently got a JD-990 that will become my string machine of sorts. I also think that the Oberheim Matrix 6 is excell...

Lately I have noticed that even new gear prices are going up. Mainly with the more boutique gear, such as Analogue Solutions.

I feel that when doing a more synthy part I prefer the use of a mono synth. If I am going for more of a full pad, string section or some key sounds then a mono synth will not do.
