anyone own a korg radias? i have a question!

okay, i'm not actually interested in the Radias itself. (it really doesn't strike my fancy...) but i am very very curious about the keyboard/stand thing that goes with it. what i'm wondering is if it's possible to mount a different rack synth (of similar size) to that setup and use the korg keyboard...

Re: looking for VA/A recomendations in the $400 range

hmm. i forgot about the jp8000 ... that'd be amazing to find one of those for around $400. and any nord lead would be absolutely perfect... but those always seem to be around $200 more no matter what. i had an electribe er-1... not really my bag, nor what i'm looking for (even the synth ones). BUT t...

looking for VA/A recomendations in the $400 range

i'm looking to find a good board to compliment my Alesis Ion. (and please dont get started on your opinion of the Ion... i just know that i love it. and will always love it.) i'm looking for something capable of some grit, and has a built in arpeggiator /sequencer (and midi). and i also know it will...

rack ears on tascam patch bays

alright... just got some older patch bays off ebay this week. problem is... somewhere in the time the picture was taken for the auction, to the time they arrived to me, someone removed the rack ears! why? i dont know. i asked the seller, and he claims he used a "generic" picture, even though with th...

well. the only experiance i have is with my alesis ion
which i highly reccomend for a VA.
people give it a lot of c**p, and it's an
on-going battle... but it's amazing. no doubt.

plus it runs a bit cheaper than most you listed.

wow! you guys all kicked the a*s out of this topic. it is rather confusing! you'd think all this information would be presented straight forward from these companies, but i guess not. either way, i think i've found a temporary solution (let me know if i've got a terrible idea going here): i'll get s...

midi control surfaces with rack synths??

trying to do some research for future purchases... i know how midi control surfaces like the behringer bcr2000 work with SOFTsynths easily, but i've been looking around and cant find any evidence about how easy it may be to route one to a rack/hard synth? (specifically a korg dw/ex-8000 or OB matrix...

I tried DX Manager and it's nice for loading/saving sysEx dumps but I found it tends to freeze when using it as an editor hmm. i'm hoping it's just a computer related issue? maybe? since, i really want the program to be as badass as it looks! that thing IS mint! must not have been used... at all? a...

general discussion: DX7mkII / TX802

http://i14.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/df/b9/f0ad_12.JPG waiting for a TX802 i just bought on the bay for $120 hoping i made a wise decision, as i've always wanted to delve into the FM programming, like many have before. i know there's plenty of software editors out there, but maybe there's a particularly...

In "lost east devouring children" are the sounds coming from the ion processed with internal effects within the Ion before they are run into the rfx-1000, or is the spatial quality all coming from the zoom? actually... i'm not even sure anymore. i'm relatively sure there was a lot of effects coming...

i remember watching two go for around $300-350 two-ish years ago on ebay. who knows though. i'm not sure how important midi even IS to me... but i wouldn't go more than $200 for one. (where as i'd go at least $350 for the 60 maybe)
