Re: 80s synth module!!

Wasn't there a Micron preset called "The80's"? Yes, as it was also on my Ion. Somehow Alesis was able to capture the essence of an entire decade into 1 single preset. People are still wondering how they were able to accomplish such a herculean task. This is extraordinary! Is it monophonic or ...

Anyways, it is a good synth for 80's stuff. I think VA + FM can cover a lot of that 80's sound.

That. Is. Awesome.

Great job, sir. Makes me want to build one myself but I have a hard time setting up racks so I'm hardly skillful for manual work.

Re: Korg RADIAS Discontinued

This smells weird.... Korg is trying to convice people about their "Korg Komponent System" or something like that, why would they take out the M3's KKS girlfriend out of the market with just one year of M3? Or are they just discontinuing the keyboard version? ....which is just a rack + minicontrolle...

Re: Yamaha EX-7 - a traditional synth too?

An Ex-7 is great, but an EX-5 is awesome. I'd really miss the VL function, and if you're looking for some jazzy stuff you could use some fluty sounds for Chick Corea like stuff. On the other hand it has great piano/elec-piano like most Yamahas. I've also made awesome monoleads with the Wah+Overdrive...

Add 25 keys to that and you get a nice looking toy I'd play with.

What could Push It be? I'd like to think self-destruction for a really explosive show. 8)

The Microkorg is really nice.. it's the tiny keys that make it useless for me.

The front mic and the colors also make me prefer the R3.

I'm not sure I'm completely into the rest of electronic music everyone around these forums like, but I'm getting more and more into psytrance and psychodelic progressive, although I'm still more of a prog metal / prog rock musician. :D

I guess it would be Ozric Tentacles.

Hello, I'm considering this synth and have some questions.

1.- How much polyphony does it have?

2.- How much patch memory can it store?

3.- Anyone have a really amazing demonstration to convince me? :D
