There's been a lot of talk about sending softsynths through hardware filters, and today I was messing around with sending TR-808 samples from my computer to the filter on my SH-09, and with sending a patch from the Moog Modular V softsynth through the filter as well...and man that sounded just great...

Are you getting a hum, or a crackling noise? If it's a hum, it's interference from the wall plug, or if it's a higher pitch it can come from the computer.
