Thats interesting...how did you find that you got on with the Juno 60 trying to re create their sound.

Thanks Nathan..its a quite unusual sound...couldnt get that from my 303 although ive sold it now.

have a sus that its prob a sh09 driven by a seq doing odd timings...

quite funny as the video is of Thassos Greece and the beach is makreamos where i holiday'd last year.

cabaret voltaire big funk wobble sound

HI Guys need to know how i can create the wobble bass line from this track or what may have been used to do this.
the sound comes in after about 30 seconds into the track..

dont have the link but please you tube it...any feed back would be welcome thankyou.

Thanks..... tomorrow stops.... was thinking that this was the only way to do it.

It feels odd to put the 707 before anything else..? would this cause any problems with the atari sending out its
own messages as normal...? to the other units...? cheers

Playing TR707 along with atari

Please forgive me if im being a nerd..and i have looked the manual up, just need the reasurance from you guys. if im missing a trick here.? i like to play the 707 in pattern play mode in order to get the swing going. no promble. how do i then, get it to start/stop and play in time with my little ata...

brass stabs will be an Oberheim of some kind..poss obxa or ob8

bass is DX7 sounding in combi with bass guitar.

for me personally, fast is required. i cant even stand waiting for things to warm up anymore.they've been sold. the faster i can put a riff down the happier i am, and ideas always come to me on a new day, upon firing up the machines.if i spend more than 30 mins trying to find my sound its not going ...

Hi skizzle.. i liked your post on how the arrival of the DX7 and D50 halted your ideas somewhat. do you think manufacturers should heed something from this.

there seemed to be a time when everything was fine with the world, then we go and complicate it all. what happened.?

just purcahsed a Roland 707 on monday. not only is it an instant machine with a groove, but a very close impression to the Linn LM1. it sits in the mix well, with a little tinkering. but to get ideas written down quick, you cant go wrong with this baby. is there any other equipment you could mention...
