Love my Tr707 and Tr09 combination best of both I'd say...didn't take to the TR8 at all.

roland Tr09 battery time query

Hi All....has anyone else found that the stated 4 hours of battery play seems to actually be 2 hours max...there is no way I've hit 4 hours before the thing flashes and wants more batteries fed into it...bloody nightmare.

Could I possibly feed it off of a roland sbx1 into the micro of the Tr09.

Atari notes move when hardware sync

Hi All....Weird one....if I use my Atari with my Poly 800 all is well...midi cable in to the out etc...I play in a 9 note sequence by hand and tighten it up a little with using a 64 th quantise and snap. I now wish to use my hardware TR707 to trigger the Atari with the help of sync function. So that...

Re: Korg poly 800 sequencer question

Thank you for your very helpful replys and even the manual download....I love using this site even though I post silly questions I know. Ah so it's the gate time that can sometimes be the answer....is there any other synth of that time that could offer me A sequencer with which I could vary the gate...

Korg poly 800 sequencer question

Hi All.....when I'm using the sequencer I'm just getting on and off sound....is this because the poly has no velocity or after touch.
It makes for a quite boring sound after a while...

Poindexters early synths

Hi all, there's not a lot of information about this particular artists SYNTH sounds...I feel that he uses a mc202 in some of his work but I'm more interested in his synth choices....it sounds like his synth might have been basic ones...I'm always curious to whether it might have been casio cz s or f...

Re: Roland tr09 reasons to be cheerful

I can't ever see Roland bringing out anything better than this as a replica TR909...they see a market to make money cheaply and go for it....a TR08 will surely follow if this does well. We do have a few alternatives now in Arturia and MFB recently for different sounding drum machines. It's funny but...

Roland tr09 reasons to be cheerful

I think Roland has done us a big favour here.
They have saved many I feel in spending out a small fortune, only to find they have no rhythm in there bones.
The 09 lets us dip our toes before the major money is handed over.

Does anybody else feel the same way.

Roland sbx 1 or korg kms 30

Hi all....I've recently purchased two old korg ddm 110 and ddm 220 drum machines...I wish to run them along with a tr 707 and casio rz1...so I will have a problem as they run on different time scales. What unit would you choose these days to sync them up...the roland sbx1 unit applies a swing featur...
