Re: Space Echo Tape Loops warning!

I have a loop from eBay seller rankus, I believe he is 201loop, and it's worked fine. Last time I used it I think it started sounding faint but I have had the loop for a while. Plenty of hours use so I should replace it. I've been thinking of splicing my own with 8-track tapes or something. Are the...

Space Echo Tape Loops warning!

I got a RE150 and have been trying replacement tapes.
DO NOT BUY 201loop or mytapeecho loops!
The 201loop sticks to the heads and jams easily. The mytapeecho has no sound. Runs nicely but produces a very faint echo, inaudible from the direct out.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Angelo

Re: Microphones

Getting ready to buy a pair of Sennheiser 451's, and I think a new vocal mic. Looking for a good vocal mic below $1000, above $200. Basically, I need something better than the NT1A. I like the AKG414 but I really don't think I can justify $1000 on one right now. Suggestions? NT1A + octavamod? http:...

I got mine for 100 bucks! :)
It sounds really good and has a nice interface. Built like a tank, and looks damn nice!
On the super cheap you can get the EH Doctor Q. I got mine off craigslist for 20 bucks.

Dead TR 707

Hello all!
I got a dead tr 707 for 50 bucks.
I opened it and upon visual inspection nothing revealed itself. I made a quick check with the meter and power seems to be reaching everywhere. Any suggestions? The thing is completely dead! :(
Thanks a lot!

Re: solina string ensemble

I had one under my fingers on a $450 bin, but I so broke I had to let it pass. I think 550 euros is still a good price, but why not try to talk it down a little?
Good luck!

I not sure if Japan is 220v or 100v. Check for the voltage and get the proper converter. Make sure you get enough wattage to feed all you want to plug in. Good luck!

Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY AUCTIONS HERE!!!

Saw this on Maindrag's website. I've bought several things from these guys, they have a full service tech. department. Not sure that price is good, but I know these gems are quite rare. http://www.maindragmusic.com/md/?p=5046 I'm curious as to what this was; it's no longer linking to a page. Was an...
