Well, that escaped me. It was not posted on this thread though. If they are not needed then there obviously won't be a big problem. Okay, I see what gave the "duping" impression. I originally wrote: "I hope the parts that aren't included are specified beforehand, so that the people that purchase th...

Re: VCS 3 / Synthi AKS DIY !!!
Did I say he was duping people? I just said it sounded like an unattractive deal to me. Don't twist people's words, thank you. Did you read what he said? "I am hoping to be selling electronic component kit sets, these will comprise of all transistors, I.C.'s, resistors and capacitors, excluded are ...

Re: The Beatles: In My Life Harpsichord?
Baldwin did, at some point in the 1960s, market an electric harpsichord that was about the size of a Rhodes piano. If you recall the Partridge Family theme, it's all over that. I have one of these Baldwin Electric Harpsichords. My father bought it new in the '60s and gave it to me quite a while ago...

Re: CV Sequencer
synthesizers.com makes a few sequencer modules (one a clone of the old Moog sequencer), you'll need to purchase (or build) a power supply and case to use them. +1 for DOTCOM. They sell a small power supply that will power the sequencer and a few other modules if you decide to expand(and if you buy ...

Re: Modular Synthesizers ?
Well the question is what does polyphony in a modular mean to you? Would you really want to buy all the duplicate modules and spend a TON of money to play an 8 note chord that your Nord can do? I consider my modular polyphonic because I tend to have a variety of different melodic sequences, rhythmi...

Re: Modular Synthesizers ?
Polyphony is possible in modulars, but not practical. For, let's say, 8 voices you'll need a monster system, with 8 oscillators. And if you want true poly you'll need that many complete voices, with EG, VCA, VCF. A good poly synth is much easier and cheaper, and you still can process it through the ...

Black Lion upgrade schedule! And mic mods...
Holly cow! I took the plunge and schedule the signature mod for my 002r. I hope this mod is as good as they say it is! :? Can anybody comment on this mod? It's pretty expensive when you consider that an used 002r goes for $600 or less these days. I hope my old burnt ears can hear the difference. :( ...
