I think they're legitimate entries, but I'll go with general consensus otherwise.

Worst Yamaha Synth EVER!

Well, it was inevitable. Perhaps the DX 7? Only for the fact that it once sold for over $2,500 and now you're lucky if you can sell it for $300 for it these days. It was very hard to program too, (without a computer). (I kind of think it was overused for a while - ) But boy was it built like a tank!...

I meant it is a defensive tactic on the part of the seller, not on your part. You post a price, and show previous sales around that price as justification for your price. I find it interesting too. I don;t own a ton of synths and am not bitter about it either, I'm glad the topic came up. Thanks for...

Re: Touchpads

I'm really enjoying the touchpad on my new JP8000 and also really like the mini kaos pad. I wanted to know more about these - how they work, what synths etc use them, stand alone touchpad midi things? and what other people thought of them as a means of expression. Cheers! I really like them a lot! ...

And posting a high watermark price is a defensive tactic for the jealous people with too much internet time whi will say a price is unrealistic. And what defensive tactic was that? Seriously, I started this thread because it was interesting to me and thought it might be to others. I have no desire ...

That's pretty cheap considering what they sold for when they first came out.

Did it come with a hard shell case?
Actually, it did. I still have it in the garage!!!

Of course not, but $8,500 more than the highest completed listing seems er, unusual. Also, there seems to be quite a few listings available other than the $10,000 one with quite a few buy it now prices around the $1,500 mark. All of my comments were being directed at the $1,900 Solus. ohhhh.... I'm...

Completed items shows:

$1,150.00 - $1,500 with most around $1,100 - $1,200

Hello Phollop, for future reference, there's actually a 'sticky' thread at the top of the page for posting any interesting eBay auction related finds. I thought about that, but this was so off the wall, it wasn't so much 'interesting' as wacked. So I figured it was on topic for it's own thread. Bes...
