Whoever that was that just outbid me on that Mobius..... I hate you. Hadn't seen the Clockwork yet.. just watched the demo vid but I'll have to check into its features some more. I'm really tempted to get a MM or MD.. I could almost kick myself for not bidding on the one that just went for 715...

my vote would have to go with the Korg Mono/Poly, MS2000 (as far as newer picks go), Roland JD-880 (crazy), and Monomachine ltd KB version. Them's some sexy synths. I also really like Roland's 80s stuff.. JX3p/JX8P/Juno106/Jupiter8. Yum. By default I usually go with the one knob per parameter style ...

Topping my fantasy gear wishlist--since no one asked--would be a knobby computer control surface with an EMX style sequencer in it. No synth engine, just controls and sequencer with USB bus power. Here here, I 2nd Its silly that no one outside a small selection of mini-companies have made modern mi...

hey, thanks for all great the replies! I should've stated in my op that I own a Korg ESX. I've looked at an EMX but I think I only want one electribe. I have given it thought tho. The other synth I want to drive live is a MS2000b. I've already got computer&laptop midi for it and everything else but ...

the korg er-1 is extremely simple and is only for rhythm sounds. has both analogue modeling and pcm waves.. no real synth to speak of. mc-303 you can get under 150$'s if you are patient enough on ebay (alot of morons try to sell it buy it now for over 200 but they are .. like i said.. morons). the r...

yeah im aware of all that Z & that the Mobius is no longer in production (i've seen at least 3 go up on ebay in the past couple months and they aren't marked up too high). anyways.. I'm thinking of possibly even going old school and use my midi/cv convertor (or get a new one if i have to) w/ somethi...

16-Step pattern sequencer / MIDI (Mobius, MFB, etc)

I'm looking into getting a standalone sequencer for my midi gear.. cv/gate/din sync would be nice but i already have a box for that so not entirely needed. I've looked at the Mobius and the Step64 and I'm really tempted to buy the Mobius 2nd had (they come up pretty regularly on ebay).. but I believ...
