Re: Juno-106 problem (not voice chip)

WE TRIED THE TRIMMER AND IT IS DEFINITELY VOICE 1, VR27-GAIN, BUT EVEN BROUGHT UP ALL THE WAY IT IS MUCH LOWER THAT THE OTHER 5 VOICES. I DO NOT THINK IT IS RESONANCE OR ANY OF THE OTHER SETTINGS. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? COULD THE GAIN BE LOW AND THE CHIP STILL WORKS OK? I PRESUMED THAT THE CHIP EITH...

Juno-106 problem (not voice chip)

I just bought a Juno-106 from a guy on VSE for $500. He said it was in great condition with all of the voice chips working which is true. All six voices are playable. But I am having one problem. When on poly 1 mode there are some notes that are bit quieter than the rest. Each quiet note is 6 notes ...

Re: Korg R3 Synth/Vocoder

I love the vocoder, but the rest of the synth is c**p. Horrible filters. The effects are OK. I cant wait to switch mine for something else.

Re: E-mu e5000 vs e6400 vs Roland S-760

Do they both take .wav files? I know the S-760 doesn't. Ive heard many good things about the sound of all of them. Do they all have the ability to change the sample bpm?

Re: E-MU rack samplers

They so happen NOT to be on the explorer and I found nothing with searching. There are too many! I think im going to narrow this down to the e5000 and e6400. Ill edit my first post.

E-mu e5000 vs e6400 vs Roland S-760

The two E-MU samplers look similar, what are their main differences? Google has done nothing. Im getting a sampler soon and Ive mainly been looking at those two, and the Roland S-760. How do they compare?

Recording with mixer vs interface

What are the main differences between recording music from a mixer vs from an audio interface. It seems like the only difference with the interface would be the ability to run individual virtual effects though each instrument.

Re: Zynaddsubfx with Live

I already have jack on mac, I know there is a VST version on zynaddsubfx but i don't think its for mac. Also zynaddsubfx is not making any sound, is it a problem with jack or the program itself. I tried playing around with settings on both but nothing changed.

Help me choose a mixer

Im looking for a new mixer for doing both live electronic performance and recording in the studio. It needs to have solo / mute switches and at least 12 or more channels. I really love the vintage look (ex: mackie cr1604, soundcraft 200b, boss bx-16) I must be able to get it for under $300. I think ...
