Has anyone seen anything like this? Maybe its some vsti samp...

The Jazz of Tomorrow

A somewhat jazzy track I have written and finally got to recording today. Everything done live in ableton, with an eq and limiter thrown on in fl studio after the fact. Synthwise, the strings were Casio CZ-1000, the arp was the korg ms2000, and I used an altered sample from Can You Feel It by mr fin...

Rock On(house)

A song I started a few months ago and never quite finished. Finally finished. Since I started it a while ago I used more software than I do now. The strings are a preset sample in fl studio 8, all the drums are samples sequenced in fl studio, the distorted lead is the moog little phatty, the bass is...

Re: Kanye West - Paranoid: More electro plz?

That is my favorite song on the album to. It even feels like its trying to be house music at the end with the percussion outro. And I think autotune sort of fits with the theme of the album. His heart his broken, and he lost his soul to a woman so heartless, so, he is basically a soulless heartbroke...

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

the vocoder is always a nice feature as well. Although i havent toyed around with it much yet.

as for getting them cheap, i got my ms2000r here for $250. Definitely worth every single penny times 2

I'm not sure if this is the place to put music by people other than yourself? But if it isn't just move it to off topic

Here is an awesome set by thomas bangalter from 1996 I just discovered. Even better than the Alive 1997 album.

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

I'm sort-of getting tired of button pushers (who have nothing to say and don't even "play") ... There was an electronic chick at a show I played at last night with a MicroKorg and an MPC1000 ... Each of her "songs" were great for about 15 seconds ... but not the, oh I don't know, 15 minutes she see...

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

the distortion is alright on the ms2000, not very good but it can beef up something if you want it to. because im to poor and lazy to get a proper 303 or 303 clone all my acid is currently on the ms2k and the distortions makes it sound a fair bit bigger. cant ask for much, considering i only paid $...

Midi files are just the notes, they make the sound of whatever you play them with. :thumbright:
I meant like the windows sounds when you playback a midi file. i am certainly not a midi noob =)

I vote laptop computer. especially those realistic sounds that a midi file makes. hardware wise, most versatile seems to me(although ive never used one) a nord stage. modeled organs and pianos, fm, VA, and wavetable synthesis...an "everything" keyboard for church worship group/weekend warrior keyboa...
