Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

the distortion is alright on the ms2000, not very good but it can beef up something if you want it to. because im to poor and lazy to get a proper 303 or 303 clone all my acid is currently on the ms2k and the distortions makes it sound a fair bit bigger. cant ask for much, considering i only paid $2...

I really like the feel of this track. Jazzy influences but also some sort of electronic influences as well. really mellow and jazzy feel. keep it up!

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

the only thing i dont like about the MS is the thinness of the oscillators. especially the saw. but the vox wave is cool, and i have yet to explore the possibilites of the dwgs

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

MS is my newest synth and my first VA, im not a big fan of the sound, but its still pretty good.. just the fact that its pretty cheap means it will probably somewhat go down as a classic(like the dx7)

Re: ableton live noob question

well i understand the sync is fine, but what i mean is can i set the latency on the the midi sync out so it goes like 22.7 ms before?(m y current latency). because i need to be able to monitor the drums through ableton for live performing. i figured today i could set the latency of any software part...

ableton live noob question

I know this is a noob question but how exactly do i fix the latency settings right so that my live gear will be in sync with anything played by software in ableton? i looked in the manual and couldnt find anything. EDIT: ok i figured out how to fix it for the midi tracks, however the sync still goes...

Re: 2 new tracks

wow this is great. as i said in another thread, i wish people around here liked acid at all or i would get my hands on a 303 or xoxbox as soon as i could. ive been in love with distorted acid lines ever since listening to da funk by daft punk.

Re: Coordinating Multiple Sequencers

considering I only have 3 sequencers and i only really use 2 of them its pretty easy. i sequence the ES-1 internally and everything else with ableton. if i want to do a more complex pattern then the es-1 sequencer can handle then ill use it as a sound module.
