Re: Is there a way?

Well its my friend who has the soft synths, so it would be a way of me being able to use the sounds from that, and since i dont have a laptop or any soft synths myself it would save me money...

Drum Machine Question....

Im looking for a piece of equipment that has the ability to allow me to make beats and drum parts (like the AN200 and DX200) and also have a sampler in it....does anything like this exist?

so if someone had reason or something, they couldnt get a controller to store the patches they made on the PC in it and play them separate from the computer..you'll NEED the CPU at gigs to get those sounds

Is there a way?

Is there a way to use a soft synth without the trouble of bringing the computer to the gig? Does a controller exist where you can put patches on it and go?

Id get the MS 2000 to start with...more options and you wont get bored...and with 4 voices you could probably expand on them alot to make it sound more interesting...since its just a synth thats not to big a problem...you could still play some chords...but yea go for the MS...more options for less.....

noob question here, but how do you tape back ups of your important stuff? What do you back it up onto (in the case of synths)?
