SO why call it a modern speak and spell? They have nothing in common. Follow your own advice.

Re: great SH-101-driven tracks

AFAIK, most of the basses on UAE were Pro-One and SH-1. I think the lead line for Don't Go was 2600. I'm "Almost" positive the bass on Situation was SH-1.

You sure you're not thinking of the Pro-One. or SH-1?

Re: great SH-101-driven tracks

Are you referring to the wow wow wowwowo lead line? Or the acid line mid-way through? The wow lead is just a slow attack, not portamento.

Re: great SH-101-driven tracks

No. Some say its an MS-20, others a Juno-106. I personally think its a 106 run through an Electro-Harmonics distortion pedal. I was able to get this sound almost perfect when i had a 106 a few years ago.

Re: Have you ever... thrown away a synth?

I would never throw anything away. Right now i have a bricked Microwave II sitting under my bed. Its probably permanently f**k, but i'm keeping it in hopes that someday, someone will figure out how to unbrick these things.

Re: looking for a and x0x0x0x0 1 question

I'm hoping the kit will be here tomorrow. I take about 3 days to build and test a complete kit. With any luck, i can have it available for sale by Monday at the latest. This will be my 5th build, so i'm pretty well versed in building them.

Re: looking for a and x0x0x0x0 1 question

I just bought a kit off of E-Bay, should be here any day. I'll be selling it once its built. The b0xes from BCM are unfortunately made by T.T., who have horrible track records for these. A lot of have problems. There are little tweaks you can do to make it as close to the 303 sound as possible. Whic...
